francisco police uniform and badge, which young max will be trading in for a jail house jump suit. >> max wade was a juvenile when the crimes were committed, but tried as an adult. he'll be sentenced in december. one of the guys you least expect to be the victim of a crime recently had his car broken into. someone broke into the san francisco police chief's car a few weeks ago. outside his home, and stole a jacket. the chief said he is quote not immune to crime, and the case remains unsolved. new information about the sheriff's deputy who shot and killed 13-year-old annie lopez, the santa rosa boy who it was carrying what turned out to be a pellet gun. andrea spoke with someone who said the game officer pulled a gun on him. >> reporter: every westbrook of santa rosa was car pooling to work when he was pulled over

by deputy eric gelhouse. >> i felt something not right with him. >> reporter: jeff pulled over, just as he offered to make more room for gelhaus to stand, when a simple traffic stop for failing to use a blinker went sideways. >> and the car starts to move. he screams turn the car off, and as i'm still look at him, he pills his weapon out, and now he's just point blank. >> reporter: jeff said the gun's barrel was a foot from his head. >> i've never had a gun pointed at me. >> reporter: he said that's when gelhaus told him to get out of the car, and it happened again. >> when he askedfy had winnens, he went to the gun a second time. >> reporter: he found out that a car like his was on a be on the lookout call. the sheriff's department just connected the dots of the officer who pulled the gun on him to andy lopez.

he was stunned. >> i don't know where i'm at. i just know that i'm feeling that maybe something could have been done. >> reporter: we are live out here at the growing memorial at moreland. he just told us he plans to file a formal complaint with the sheriff's department against deputy gelhaus. we tried to get ahold of the sheriff's department to get their story. we have not yet heard their viewpoint. and a memorial will be held at 6:30 this evening, hosted by andy's mother. >> also today, deputy gelhaus's attorney told the chronicle that he thought that andy's gun was a real ak-47 and he feared for his life. that's why he opened fire. the attorney also said that gelhaus quote feels for the loss of life.

turner, of vallejo. they arrested him last night. investigators believe he got in a fight over thomas cunningham over his dogs and opened fire, killing cunningham in front of his 13-year-old daughter at hire had just bought her ice cream. a plane full of people finally landed at sfo. they started out in tokyo for what was supposed to a nonstop flight. ended up in a remote area of alaska, a tiny town called cold pay, from cold bay to san francisco bay. joe tells us what happened. joe? >> reporter: well, ken, they're still trying to figure out what happened. suffice to say, the was an in- flight emergency, and the pilots said we have to land this thing right away, and so diverted to cold pay, alaska, population, less than a hundred. more than 170 people had to get off their delta lane because ofen gin problems and find somewhere to wait for another plane to come. some waited at a nearby school,

agents raided the state offices of senator ron alter an. now according to one report, he was being investigated for bribery, extortion, conspiracy and fraud. the documents outline how he was caught up in an fbi sting, in which investigators set up a phony movie studio and paid calder on and member offers his team more than $60,000 in bribes to draw up less that could have resulted in lucrative tax credits from the phony studio. calder own's studio, for example, according to the report, was given a job at the fake studio for which she was paid $30,000, according to the affidavit but never showed up for work. when josh bernstein confronted calder on about the allegations, this is how it went. >> reporter: the fbi says you have received ten offers thousands of dollars in bribes
